Abuse
Abuse comes in different forms, shapes and disguises. The father who beats his child mercilessly under the pretext of discipline; a sadistic schoolyard bully who hounds and torments weaker students; the manipulative teacher that molest and violates unsuspecting students, scarring them for life.
The end result, though, is always the same: Feelings of confusion. Anger. And pain. Substance abusers are not trying to destroy their bodies – they're attempting to extinguish those pent-up emotions of turmoil, turbulence and rage.
